Deborah Lee Stocker – Obituary
Deborah Lee Stocker, age 63, of 905 Payson St., Quincy, died on January 26, 2014 at 2:20 p.m. in her home. She was born on January 2, 1951 in Richmond, VA, a daughter of Everett & Ruth (Kruck) Gruelle. She married Steve Stocker on August 14, 2000 in Quincy. He survives.
Deborah was a 1969 graduate of Danville High School in Illinois. She attended Danville Community College and Parkland College. She had worked as an executive secretary with various companies.
Deborah was creative and clever with words, phrases and artwork. She also dearly loved her pets, especially her cats.
In addition to her husband, Steve, she is survived by step-daughters, Hillary Hannagan and her husband John of Gifford, IL, Stephanie Stocker of Champaign, IL and Andrea Stocker of Frankford, MO; two step-grandsons Zackary & Carson Hannagan of Gifford, IL; her brother Denny (Suzanne) Gruelle of Virginia Beach, VA; and a sister Conny (Carter) McClintock of Denver, CO; brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, her dog and two cats also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

I was part of 1969 Danville class; but more so went to Oaklawn Grade School with her. She was quiet, funny, got good grades and was good in art. My husband’s family all went to Oaklawn School we are sorry for your loss. Jan Norris
So sad to hear if the loss of this beautiful person. I went to school with Debbie. Everyone loved her so much. She was so beautiful and talented. The Class of 1969 will miss her always. We always wanted her to come to the reunions! So sorry for your loss.
