Deborah “Debbie” Ann (West) Meyer
Deborah “Debbie” Ann (West) Meyer, age 52, of 1004 Diana Drive, Quincy, formerly of Paloma, IL, died on Sunday, October 31, 2010 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on November 13, 1957 in Quincy, a daughter of Lester F. & Katherine E. (Ensor) West.
Debbie was a member of The Crossing.
She was a graduate of Camp Point Central High School.
Debbie worked as a bookkeeper for Elam Heating & Air Conditioning and Wally Hutter Oil Company before her retirement in 2001.
She was a member of Rocky Point Club. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards & spending time with family & friends.
Survivors include:
PARENTS: Lester & Katherine West of Quincy;
ONE SON: Eric Daggett and his wife Devin of Quincy;
ONE DAUGHTER: Amanda Daggett Bodwell and her husband Mark of Sutter, IL;
TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Michaela Veihl and Erika Veihl both of Sutter, IL;
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The Crossing, 929 Monroe Street, Quincy by Rev. Jim Dennis. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the memorial service. Memorials are suggested to Debbie’s granddaughter’s education fund. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Debbie was always a pleasure to take care of. She would have a huge smile on her face everytime we walked into her room. Please know that the staff of 5400 have you in their thoughts and prayers. She will be greatly missed.
