Dean E. Mohrman
Dean E. Mohrman, age 78, of Liberty, died Friday, August 26, 2022 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
He was born November 15, 1943 in Quincy, the son of Glen and Margaret Flachs Mohrman. He married Audrey K. Graff on August 15, 1992 at Richfield United Methodist Church and she preceded him in death on April 24, 2022.
He is survived by three daughters; one stepson; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Mohrman was a graduate of Quincy High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at the Illinois Veteran’s Home in Quincy for over 30 years and a member of Richfield United Methodist Church. Dean was an avid gardener and enjoyed collecting Allis-Chalmers tractors.
Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. Private inurnment at Greenmount Cemetery will take place at a later date. I had the privledge of knowing Dean from working at IVH (Soldier’s Home when Dean and I started).

Dean was unfailingly kind, and helpful. He smiled easily and his laugh was a joy to hear.
I lost track of him 20 years ago. Sad to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family.
