David W. Smith

David W. Smith, age 59, of 1507 North 4th, died on Friday, October 16, 2015 in his home. He was born on September 10, 1956 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Joseph and Rose (Clines) Smith. He married Lucinda “Cindy” Stambaugh on June 27, 1987 in Florida. She survives. Mr. Smith was a shipping supervisor for Titan Wheel with over 20 years of service.

David was an avid Chicago CUBS and Chicago BEARS fan. He liked sports and going to auctions. His grandkids were the apple of his eye along with his dog Gizmo and his granddog, ESPN.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by:
TWO SONS: David L. Smith and his wife Kim and Mark W. Smith and his fiancee Courtney Deming.
THREE GRANDCHILDREN: Hudson Smith, Eli Smith, and Dean Smith.
ONE BROTHER: Joseph Smith and his wife Tonya
TWO SISTERS: Roxanne Johnson and Barbara Garrott
BROTHERS-IN-LAW: Mike Stambaugh and Larry Stambaugh
SISTERS-IN-LAW: Lisa Massingill and April Montgomery and her husband Matt.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

David was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters-in-law: Amanda Stambaugh Snyder and Susan Stambaugh.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 20 at 12:00 noon in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Family.
