David L. Snyder, age 64, of Quincy, died on Sunday, March 14, 2021 in his home. David was born on October 17, 1956 in Chicago to Red Matthews and Maxine Snyder.

David was self-employed as a sandblaster for many years. He loved going fishing, hunting for mushrooms, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, 4 wheeling and most of all, pulling pranks and cracking jokes.

David is survived by his five children, Charlie Snyder, Mandy Snyder (Oscar), Richard “Richie” Nunn, Carrie Provine and Thomas Woodworth; five grandchildren, Lucas Snyder, Adam Snyder, Madison Roberts, Julian Ascencio and Dominic Vinas; one great grandchild on the way; six siblings, Cathy Miller (Marty), Johnny Mutchler (Amber), Carrie Smith (Shawn), Chris Nunn, Kenny Forbis and Pamela Lindsay. Many loving nieces and nephews, including a special niece “Pumpkin Seed” also survive.

David was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Loretta Carel and Linny Nunn and the love of his life, Sharon Sue Woodworth-Snyder.

Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will host a celebration of his life at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
