David L. Kasch

David L. Kasch age 67, of 1308 Madison St. Quincy, died on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 12:15 p.m. in his home. David was born December 31, 1943 in Springfield, IL a son of Harold F. and Eva S. (Boehl) Kasch. He married Betty S. Kriegbaum on June 11, 1984 in Quincy and she survives.

David had worked as a carpenter for A & D Scenery in Las Vegas, NV for 25 years prior to his retirement. He was a 1961 graduate of Christian Brothers High School.

David served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed talking and laughing with his family and friends, he loved Western movies and spending time with his grandkids.

In addition to his wife Betty, survivors also include his grandchildren, Michael Kasch of Rosiclare, IL and Michelle Case of Shawneetown, IL; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Kasch of Rosiclare; two great-grandchildren Shelby and Wesley Case;
two step-sons, Ronnie (Erica) Cox of Quincy and John (Zoe) Cox of Winnebago, IL;
and step-grandchildren, Tanner Cox, Tegan and Tristan Cox.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Family and Friends are invited to visitation Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. www.dukerandhaugh.com
