Darlene Bias

Darlene Bias, age 77, of Quincy, died on Thursday, January 4, 2024 in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. She was born on January 4, 1947 in Quincy, the daughter of James Bias and Mildred (Holly) Bias.

She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by:
SIBLINGS: Bruce-Bank’s (Brenda), Bonnie, and Otis
NIECES: Richelle, Shameka, and Lauravetta
NEPHEWS: Wendell (Sr.) (Alexis), Richie (Heather), Antwyon, Jamie, Brucie, Tyfus (Melissa), Omarius and Damier.
GREAT NEICE: Kaiya, Tierra, Arianna, Abigail-Abbey, Janae, Rashaya, Justine, LewZiah, Alexis-M., Rataya, and Zakila
GREAT NEPHEWS: Wendell (Jr.), Legacy, Jarryd, Damere, Damere, Michael, Gavin, and Devin
GREAT-NIECE: Jazmyne

She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and James Bias. In addition to that
SISTERS: Mary and Laura
BROTHERS: Vernon Skeet and James Duke
NEPHEWS: Lewis (Sr.), and Otis (Jr.)
GREAT NEPHEWS: Lewis (Jr.), Lafrele, and Ladavion

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Darlene’s life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM in First Baptist Church. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    My condolences and prayers to the family. She will be missed greatly. I will miss seeing her and her smile and laugh. She was very sweet, loving, and spiritual lady. Rest easy Darlene.

    I remember Aunt Darlene occasionally babysitting me at the house on Elm Street. Her kindness, laughter and caring nature will stay with me forever.

    I’m still processing losing you. and now not only do i have to process you being gone now Aunt Bonnie. i miss you so much. we all do. you will always be in our hearts. i love you. i really hope and pray you are in a way better place. you were always such a sweet woman so i have no doubts that you are. rest in peace Aunt Darlene.
