Danita J. Turnbaugh

Danita J. Turnbaugh, age 54, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in her home. She was born on September 2, 1963 in Quincy, the daughter of Roger and Barbara (Taylor) Clayton. She married Randy Turnbaugh on September 2, 2005 in Quincy. He survives.

Danita served her country in the US Army. She worked at Melrose International for six years and retired because of ill health.

Danita enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved being outdoors, especially mushroom hunting.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Barbara (Michael) Morse of Camp Point; three sons; Shaun Courtois, Cecil Courtois and Justin Courtois all of Quincy; one daughter, Shannon Edwards of Quincy; two brothers, Scott Clayton and Jeff (Terri) Clayton both of Quincy; one sister, Anita (Lee) Edwards of Quincy; six grandchildren.

Danita was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Kirk and Steve Clayton.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery.
There will be no visitation, but friends are invited to the graveside services on Monday. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    May God wrap his arms around this entire family right now. Dee Dee will be greatly missed. Scott, Jeff, and Anita you now have another Angel watching over you all.
