I served with Dan in the USAF in Germany. He was a great airman, a pleasure to work with, and a loyal friend who would give the shirt off his back to help a friend….The world is a lesser place without our friend Dan Dietrich!!

Dan was a great guy. Our childhood adventures during my Summer and Winter visits to Quincy are some of my best childhood memories. Dan’s smile, his voice and his laugh are fresh in my mind even now. Dan’s family are probably the nicest people I ever met, and I wish this terrible thing had not befallen them. May the healing power of time and the support of one another ease the burden for all of you.

I was so saddened to hear about Dan’s passing. My heartfelt sympathy and my prayers are with the Dietrich family. Although I have bot seen Dan in a number of years, I will always remember his BIG smile and the times we shared playing together as kids and walking back and forth to school. God bless you and keep you.

Dan was a very dear friend of mine. I can truly say, I know many wonderful people with big hearts, but Dan had the biggest heart of them all. Truly sad day for everyone that ever came into contact with such a loving person. God bless his family and friends.

My heart aches for the Dietrich family. Dan was a generous, happy. dear friend for well over twenty five years. I met him at the theatre and over the years, he never missed an opportunity to keep in touch and ask me about my girls. I just had a wonderful chat with Dan over the holidays and I am so grateful to have known him. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers.
