Daniel (Danny) W. Wolf

Daniel (Danny) W. Wolf, age 80 of Quincy, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 in Blessing Hospital.
Danny was born in Quincy, Illinois, on November 13, 1942, son of Milbert and Bertha (Reinold) Wolf. He married his wife, Janet E. Havermale, on April 24, 1965, in the former St. Mary Catholic Church; she survives.

Danny was a graduate of the former St. Rose Catholic Grade School, and a 1960 graduate of Quincy Senior High School. He served in the Illinois National Guard from 1963 until 1965.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish.

Danny began his working career at a young age with Electric Wheel Company, which later became Can-Am, then Titan Wheel. He retired from Titan Wheel in 2011.
In his younger years, Danny was an outdoorsman who liked hunting, trapping, and fishing.

More recently he enjoyed wood working, pecan hunting, and taxidermy. He liked to unwind watching Westerns and listening to country music. Danny always loved indulging in Janet’s warm meals and desserts.

In addition to his wife Janet, survivors include their four children:
Kevin Wolf and his wife Julie of Quincy; Cindy Pratt and her husband Sheldon of Arkansas; Brian Wolf and his wife Karrie of Payson, IL; Eric Wolf and his wife Emily of Moro, IL.
Grandchildren: Morgan and Logan Wolf of Quincy; Danielle, Jordan, and Evan Pratt of Arkansas; Blake, Brock and Brant Wolf of Payson; Darian and Addyson Wolf of Moro, IL.
Brothers: Tom Wolf and his wife Jane of Quincy; Jimmy Wolf and his wife Mindy of Liberty, IL.
Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Johnny and Connie Miller of Durham, MO; Angie Havermale of Quincy; Rick and Carol Bridal of Quincy; Lee and Vicky Hanlin or Monroe City, MO; Kathy Albright of Quincy; Jerry and Debbie Havermale of Payson, IL. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother in infancy; three sisters, Phyllis Holcumbrink, Vicky Murray, and Diane Hawe. Two brothers-in-law, Steve Havermale and Bruce Albright.

Cremation rites will be accorded. At this time, no services are planned.
Memorials are suggested to Blessing Foundation for Hospice.

    To a wonderful father and family man. The few times I spent with him and his wife you could see the love in their eyes. He raised a wonderful man!!!
