Dale V. Howell, age 63, of 1104 Chestnut, Quincy, died on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in Blessing Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on May 31, 1950 in Quincy, a son of Frank & Martha (Harman) Howell. He married Bonita Nick on February 23, 1996 in Quincy. She survives.

Dale served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was of the Catholic faith.

He was employed as a truck driver by McNay Trucking for 17 years.

Dale loved playing cards. He also loved NASCAR.

In addition to his wife, Bonita, he is survived by two sons, Andrew Howell and his wife Julie of Quincy, and Michael Connors and his wife Michelle of Girard, IL; two daughters, Angie West and her husband Gary of Spanaway, WA, and Angie Monninger and her husband Josh of Crystal Lake, IL; Nine grandchildren; one brother Dean (Diane) Howell of Quincy; and a sister Cindy (Terry) Gullick of Bucklin, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
