Dale Leroy Myers age 65, of 1340 North 5th Street Apt. 2 died on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 7:28 p.m. in his home. Dale was born in Adams County, IL on March 1, 1953. Dale was a very loving and outgoing person. He loved his kids to pieces and dearly loved his family. Dale had a heart-of-gold and was the life of a party. His favorite song was “Thunderstruck” by his favorite band AC/DC.
Survivors include two sons, John Myers of Missouri; Dale L. Myers, Jr. of Jacksonville, IL; and a daughter, Renee Brown of Quincy and one granddaughter, Nicole Brown.
Sisters, Betty Boss of Missouri; Charlotte Tournear of Missouri; Trudy Striker of Virginia and Nancy Powers of Texas. A brother Randy Myers of Texas and many nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Vickie Watson and Sharon Gwartney; and a son Terry Myers.
Graveside services with military rites will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home.
