Dakota Lynn Kathleen Boernson, age 25, of Quincy, died on Friday, June 10, 2022. She was born on September 10, 1996 in Quincy.
She is survived by:
HER SON: Carter Engle
FATHER: Gary Richard Boernson (Christina)
MOTHER: Christina Barnes Lockhart (Tommy Butler)
GRANDPARENTS: Tom Cheney (Debbie), Phyllis Cheney, Carol Barnes, Gary Barnes, Rick Lyons and Judy Meyers.
SIBLINGS: Gypsy Boernson, Serenity Talburt, Johnathan Rockwell, Brittany McClenning, Kaitlyn Grawe, and Ethan Boernson.
Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to help with expenses. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
I grew up across the street from you guys. I am so sorry girl you deserved so much more.

I didn’t know Dakota very well but the lil time I did she always brought a smile to my face.. I am so sorry for your lose Gary and Kristina Lynn.. Just know she is in a lot better place……. Take to soon but never forgotten..
