Cynthia K. “Cindy” Lewis
Cynthia K. “Cindy” Lewis, age 63, of Quincy died on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in her home. Cindy was born February 20, 1960, in Rushville, IL a daughter of Larry Trone and Bonnie (Workman) McPhail.
She married Robert E. Lewis on June 16, 1983, and he survives. Cindy had worked in Quality Control at Industrial Support Services in Quincy.
She was happiest when she was with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Cindy was active in the PTA at her children’s schools when they were growing-up and she was always interested in their lives. She liked playing cards, doing diamond art, watching Andy Griffith, and collecting Reborn dolls.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughters, Natasha Lewis, Kimberly Lewis and Christina Lewis-Coleman and her husband Jamie. A stepson, Bobby Lewis, Jr. and her stepmother Jill Trone. Grandchildren, Deshon, De’Tahjz, Staphon, II, Kaiona, Kordavius; Akira, Milina, and Tyleik; step-grandchildren, Marquise, Angel, Bridgette, Avante and Jeff. Her siblings: Marcia Trone, Lisa Trone, Larry Trone, Jr. and a special friend/sister Leslie Davis. Great-grandchildren, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews also survive.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Max Trone and Michael Trone, a son Michael Trone: her father and mother-in-law Henry and Rosemary Lewis, and a stepson Gardell Lewis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park. The visitation will be Friday from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Duker & Haugh. Messages may be share online at www.dukerandhaugh.com.
