Curtis “Curt” John Kipping
Curtis “Curt” Kipping, age 37, of Quincy, died on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in his home. He was born June 6, 1978 in Quincy, a son of William “Bill” and Vickie (Morris) Kipping. Curtis married Amy M. Aschemann on May 26, 2000 and she survives.
Curtis had worked for Stevens Electric as an HVAC technician.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Curtis loved history, reading and was talented in the areas of technology and computers. In addition to his wife Amy, survivors include his three children, William “Will”, Abigail “Abby” and Alexander Kipping all of Quincy; his mom Vickie Kipping of Quincy; his five siblings, Sara Beth (Steve) Grawe; Margaret (David) Cannady all of Quincy; Sean (Pat) Kipping of Mt. Vernon, IL; Chris (Jana) Kipping of Talladega, AL; and Ruth (Bryan) Boden of Quincy. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Curtis was preceded in death by his Dad, Bill Kipping and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Curt. I have many fond memories of hanging out with him and listening to his philosophies, thoughts, jokes, etc. My thoughts are with Amy, Vickie, his sisters, and last, but certainly most importantly the three children he left behind.
