Constance M. Shinn Pape
Constane M. Shinn ‘Connie’ Pape, age 93, of the Quincy Senior Center, died on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Center. She was born on September 8, 1924 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Earl & Vera (Featheringill) Shinn.
Connie was the Assistant Director for the Area Agency on Aging for many years. She had served in the United States Navy in the Postal Department.
She is survived by:
ONE SON: Jeffrey Pape and his wife Diane of Loveland, CO
ONE GRANDSON: Travis Pape of Lakewood, CO
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private Graveside services will be held at a later date. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jeff and Travis, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Connie at the Area Agency until I moved to GA. I visited her when I came back to Qcy twice a year. I always considered her a dear friend.
Jeff, Diane & Travis I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you. May God Bless all of you.
