Clyde H. Edgecomb, age 84, of Demorest, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

Mr. Edgecomb was born on July 2, 1932 in Fennimore, Wisconsin. Mr. Edgecomb was a member of Demorest Baptist Church. He was also a United States Army Veteran having proudly served his country for two years during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Edgecomb was owner of Edgecomb Jewelry in Englewood, Florida.

Survivors include his sisters, Jeanette Edgecomb, of Bradenton, FL; Cleone McClelland, of Quincy, IL; Marcella Walton, of Crystal Lake, IL; sister and brother-in-law, Inez and Cleve Sapp, of Hurst, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Lee and Hedwig Marie (Rickli) Edgecomb; his wife, Betty Ann Bradley Edgecomb; sister, Louise Goodwin; and step-parents, Arthur and Hazel Fierge and two brother-in-law’s, Don McClelland and Jerry Walton.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 until the time of the services.
