MONROE CITY, Mo. — Clifford E. Williams, 68, of Monroe City died at 8:25 a.m. Monday (April 21, 2008) near Monroe City. He was born Sept. 10, 1939, in Quincy, Ill., a son of Roy and Nellie Simmons Williams. He is survived by a sister, Hazel Burton and her husband, Jack, of Quincy, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Vernon Williams, in infancy. SERVICES: graveside memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy.
