Clara Rose Tebbano

It is with great sadness that the family of Clara Tebbano (nee Obal) announces her passing on June 18, 2018, at the age of 92 years. Clara will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jerry (Sharon) Tebbano and Janice (Gary) Richert. Clara will also be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Ryan (Jennifer) Richert, Patrick (Nicole) Tebbano, Christa (Sam) Lloyd, and Erika (Matthew) Nardi, by her brothers, Joseph (Marilyn) Obal, Stanley (Cathy) Obal. Clara is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, Ava and Mason Richert, Gavin and Liam Nardi, Jonah, Hannah, and Zachariah Tebbano, Elaina, Mary, and Titus Lloyd.
Clara was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, James, her parents Joseph and Victoria Obal, brother Ted (Regina) Obal, her sister Helen (Wayne) Smith. Clara will also be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends.
Clara was born in 1925 in O’Fallon, IL, and later lived in Belleville, IL. At age 89, she moved from Illinois to Loveland, Colorado with her daughter and son-in-law.
She was a charter member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church in Illinois and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Colorado. She was a resident of Brookdale Assisted-Living Home since January 2018.
A funeral service and burial will be celebrated in memory of Clara on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. in Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorial donations in memory of Clara may be made to Pathways Hospice, Fort Collins, Colorado, and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loveland, Colorado.
