Christine L. Green
Christine L. Green, age 64, of Quincy, died on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Blessing Hospital. Christine was born on November 26, 1953 in Quincy the daughter of Ernest Leonard and Catherine Louise (Lummer) Bence.
Christine was employed at Huck Fixture as a cabinet maker. She loved fishing and made fishing nets. She loved all animals and especially her chihuahua “Nando” Christine was an excellent cook, using wild game, turkey, turtles and geese.
Spending time with her family was her favorite pastime.
She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Harrison of Quincy; one brother, David (Linda) Bence; two sisters, Patricia Miller and Linda (Tony) Miller all of Quincy; and five grandchildren, Kamya Bence, Casey Wagner, Shana Wagner, Marranda Harrison and Dallas Harrison.
Many great grandchildren, a sister-in-law Donna Bence, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Billy and Mike Bence; a nephew Frankie Bence.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018, 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Inurnment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society. The Duker & Haugh funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
i miss her
So sorry to hear about your loss. She used to come to our women’s group, Ladies Night Out, many, many years ago and I always remember her as fun loving. May God give your family peace in this time of sorrow.
Chris is a wonderful and very caring hearted person. She will be missed by many. Love ya an see ya in heaven. Sorry for your lost she was awesome .love ya all.
