Cheryl was a beautiful, beautiful woman. I say that twice because she WAS a very attractive lady in the physical sense. But she was VERY beautiful from the inside out. As a breast cancer patient, just seeing her smile and compassion made me feel better. My mother-in-law in a YMCA regular, and she was so impressed with Cheryl’s lovely charisma.
I am so sorry for your loss I worked with Cheryl at Blessing and enjoyed her very much she also was a great help when my mother had cancer and she helped me deal with it. she will be missed dearly I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers
Late Fragment by Raymond Carver
And did you get what you wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved,
To feel myself beloved on the earth.
This short poem reminded me of Cheryl, who was loved by so many – a wonderful friend and yoga instructor, a true blessing in this life! It was an honor to know her.
My deepest sympathy to all her family – you were all so loved by her!
I used to work at the Aerobic Center many years ago when Cheryl taught there. I always enjoyed her classes and her friendship. She was truly a special person and touched the lives of everyone she knew. My condolenses go out to her family.
Ron and family,
love and prayers to you all during this time, Cheryl was a special person who touched all the lives of each person she encountered with all the love and compassion she had in her. she will be missed by everyone.

Our deepest condolescence to Cheryl’s family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. There has been no greater lady who has lived on earth—now she is our angel in heaven. She will always be missed!
To the family of Cheryl, I feel blessed to have known Cheryl and worked with Cheryl at the Cancer center. She is greatly missed. I am so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Teena
Cheryl, was a friend and I had attended her aerobics classes for many years going way back to the early 1990’s. I remember her best for her spirit and warm smile, my most memorable moment was after her breast cancer surgery and she was bald, yet she still came and taught our class, about half way thru class she stopped and asked us if we cared about her being bald and we all said no, she whipped off her cap and gave us a huge grin and proceeded to work our tails off. She was a beautiful lady with much to give, the world will not be the same without her. I am proud to have known her.
Cheryl was so kind and caring when my family member was at the Blessing Cancer Center. Her kindness towards him and help with his treatment was a special thing our family will never forget. We will always be grateful that she was a part of his care.
A grateful person.
God called his angel home… Cheryl was deffinately an angel. I was blesssed to have met Cheryl while working at the Cancer Center for 3 years… She was an amazing person and left her bright smile and encouragement with everyone she touched… She will be greatly missed…
Cheryl taught grace and dignity to many and left the world a better place. Thinking fondly of her at this time and wishing those who loved and cared for her peace and comfort in her memory.
To Cheryl’s family – We loved Cheryl so much, she was an amazing person and an inspiration to all whose lives she touched. She will be remembered always in yoga class. To Cheryl’s sisters – Jan & Nancy, and mom Lois – In yoga class on friday and today (saturday) we placed a single red rose tied with a white ribbon on the floor, in “her spot” where she would’ve stood to honor her presence in spirit. We all loved her so much and feel very fortunate that she touched our lives, and shared her energy in the gift of yoga. We will always remember her. I feel like she will always be present there in class and in our hearts forever. Sara Schulte (yoga)
I first met Cheryl at the Cancer Center two years ago when I was there with my husband. She was so caring and understanding. Last November I ran into her. She gave me a hug and asked how I was doing. Her compassion for other was not a 9-5 job, but a 24/7 career. She will long be remember by all who knew her and the lives of the many she touched. My sincere sympathy to Cheryl’s family.
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Cheryl. I knew her through her nursing career & through Healing Touch. We were in the same Level 4 Healing Touch class at Belleville, Ill. She was a wonderful person & will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry to hear of Cheryl’s passing. You certainly would not ever meet a nicer person that Cheryl. She was a tremendous person, giving 100% to all she met. She seemed to be the perfect grandmother.
I am hurting for all of you. God bless you as you move forward with the business of this tragedy. Although I call it a tragedy, it is ours, and certainly not Cheryl’s tragedy. I am certain she is enjoying her new home.

Our thoughts & prayers are with your family. We know that you are probably receving much support at this time, but if there’s anything we can do, let us know.
For many many months, my husband was at the Cancer Center and Mrs. Hintz never failed to greet him and see if he needed anything or if he had any questions. She was always so caring and concerned about him. I hope we told her thank you as many times as we could. She will always be remembered as a very special person. My husband lost his battle in October so he cannot say thank you himself.
