Mardelle, Paula, Mike – just learned about Chuck & I am deeply saddened by both the news & that I missed the opportunity to pay my respects. You guys were a second family to me when I was a kid & I carry a special place in my heart for you all still today. Paula, some of my best childhood memories have you right there with me!
Whenever I saw Chuck he would catch me up on the family members. When he spoke of each of his grandchildren, when he spoke of Mike, and Paula, he would be beaming from ear to ear – he was so very proud of all of you. And when he spoke of Mardelle, he would get a gleam in his eyes that could not go unnoticed. That man was in love with his wife & it showed.
You all have my deepest condolences & my sincere apologies for having missed the service. Chuck was a great guy. Maybe he & my dad are together, reminiscing of times in the old neighborhood.
Much love,
Chrissy
