Charles A. Bunte, age 83, of Quincy, Illinois, died on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on October 13, 1938. He was the son of Walter and Irene (Baker) Bunte.

Charles worked at General Mills in Chicago, IL. He was of the Catholic Faith.

Mr. Bunte is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Jennifer Bunte and Stacey Bunte.
TWO SIBLINGS: Barb Kaiser and Kenny Bunte
LONG TIME CAREGIVER: Susan Clay
Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Mr. Bunte was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Carol Clow.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial at the Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home, Quincy, Illinois with military rites conducted at the cemetery will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
