Charlene Lynn, age 74, of Quincy, died on Friday, March 4, 2022 in her home. She was born on July 28, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Bill and Pearl Helen (Johnson) Moody. She married John Martin Lynn on July 30, 1969 in San Diego, CA. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2020.

She was an avid reader and loved to work outside in the summer. Also greatly enjoyed watching films and spending time with her cat ‘Luna’.

Charlene is survived by:
A son, John Robert Lynn (Amy) of Quincy; and a daughter, Teresa Simmons (Wesley) of St. Louis, MO, grandsons, Zachary Ryan Lynn and Nathan Austin Lynn;
SIBLINGS: Irene English (J.D.)
Numerous nieces, nephews and her special cousin Robbin Frasier also survive.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Darlene, Bobby, Bill and Tom.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services.
