    Dear Mary & Nan,
Please accept my sympathy. I have many fun memories of Katie and our trips looking for wedding clothes. Am in Mexico for a month, so unable to be at Katie’s funeral, but have her in my prayers.

Dear Mary and Nan, What a delightful woman your Mother was! I will always remember her leading the Brownies with my Mom and telling Vivian that “yes, Mary Kay and Janet could carry the flag; it doesn’t always have to be the rest of the girls.” I did see your Mother a couple years ago at her home in Quincy and she was reveling in the fun of your daugher’s wedding, Mary. She was a joyful person with a smile on her face for everyone. Our deepest sympathies to you both and your families. God’s many blessings with prayers and love, Dave & Jan Monk

    Dear Nan —

Please accept my deep sympathy upon hearing of your mother’s passing. From her picture, I can tell she retained her beauty all these years even if it is not a very recent picture.

I had forgotten that she was a brownie leader, but then I hadn’t thought about brownies for a long, long time. I have, however, often thought about all our escapades over at your house, on your back porch, steps and yard, and Katie was always a nice and fun, though watchful, presence.I try to emulate her though I fear I seem like an old curmudgeon to Flo, my 12 year old daughter. (I see Brian and Allison are all grown and married.)

Please give my regards to Mary Kay and Alan. I wish I could be in Quincy to attend the service but will have to wait to see you at our reunion.

Until then, wishing you the best,

    Susan

Sorry to hear of your mother’s death. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I will not be able to attend the funeral as I broke my collar bone last Thursday while on a business trip to D.C.
Aunt Catherine was a wonderful lady and as you know will be missed by many. I will always remember Uncle Jack’s laugh and Aunt Catherine’s beauty-both physical and spiritual.
    God Bless you all!

Mary and Nan, I have so many great memories of Katie and Jack as a child and as an adult. Jack was gone too soon, but he had a laugh that I’ll never forget. Katie was a real sweetheart, and my Mom, Lucy, really loved her, and how could we not love her too? Great, beautiful lady, and I know you will miss her. It’s very difficult to lose one’s Mom, and my heart goes out to you at this very sad time. What a long and glorious life! With love, Mary

    Dear Mary Kay and Nan,

Sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. Remember all the good times, it is love not time that heals all wounds. I will remember you in my thoughts and prayers.

Katie was one of my best friends while my husband & I lived in Quincy, from 1975 to 1991, We went to St.Peter’s, played duplicate bridge together, and went to Israel together! I hope she didn’t suffer too much. Jane Nolan sent me the message and told me how to find her obituary. she will be in my prayers. Hope all is well with you all. Jean Killelea
