Carol Sue Vogel
Carol Sue Vogel, age 71, of Liberty, died on Saturday, October 24, 2020 in her home. She was born on December 10, 1948 in LaGrange, MO the daughter of Ralph and Rose (Thalmann) Gullion. She married Robert ‘Bob’ Vogel on November 29, 1975. He survives.
Over the years, Carol had worked for Hardees, Motorola and Harris Corp.
She was of the Catholic Faith. Carol loved the time she was surrounded by her family.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: Tawnya Sidwell (Brice) of Payson, IL; Sonya Stapleton (Michael) of Barry, IL and Melissa Liesen (Christopher) of Plainville, IL.
GRANDCHILDREN: Devin Moore, Derek Moore, Samantha Sidwell, Michael Sidwell, Brandon Jennings, Brandt Stapleton, Aden Stapleton, Audra Stapleton, Jonathan Vogel, Cole Liesen and Jacob Liesen.
ONE BROTHER: Phil Gullion (Brenda) and
A BROTHER-IN-LAW: Tom Ray
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Rosemary Ray
Cremation rites will be accorded and no formal services are planned at this time.
