Carol M. Seifert

Carol M. Seifert, age 60, of 1505 Madison, died on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on February 11, 1957 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Clarence & Theresa (Pitz) Reines. She married Gerald “Jerry” Seifert on July 12, 1975 in Aurora, IL. He survives.

Carol had previously worked at Blessing Hospital as a lab technician. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Carol was very dedicated to her church. She was proud to be a ‘church lady’ and spent the last 20 years as a director of religious education.

In addition to her husband, Carol is also survived by:
TWO SONS: Eric (Andrea) Seifert of Glenwood Springs, CO; and Kurt Seifert of Quincy, IL.
THREE SISTERS: Marlene Buecher and her husband Bill; Camille Caballero and her husband Steve; and Joy Dunham.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 6:00 PM at St. Francis Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 until 6:00 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the Family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
