Carol Ann Smith, age 77, of North Adams Home, Mendon, formerly of Quincy, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014 in the home. She was born on May 26, 1937 in Adams County, IL, a daughter of Russell & Gwendolyn (Fulmer) Stark.

Carol retired in 2002 following 27 years in housekeeping for Good Samaritan Home.
Carol loved to sew, and she was an excellent seamstress. She also liked baking and being with her family.

She is survived by a son, James Smith, Jr. and his wife Teresa of Hawk Point, MO; two daughters, Sue Nichols and her husband Tom of Quincy and Vicki Stover and her husband Dony of Gwinn, MI; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Paul & Garold Stark.

To honor Carol’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
