Carol A. Bolte

Carol A. Bolte age 66, of Quincy passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, in her home. Carol was born in Quincy on July 16, 1955, a daughter of Orville J. and Elsie M. (Ehrhardt) Nieders. She married Roger L. Bolte on September 6, 1996 in Payson, IL and he survives.

Carol had worked at Cassano’s Pizza in Quincy for 28 years, until her recent retirement. Previously, she had her own day care.
Carol was of the Catholic faith.

Her life revolved around her three grandsons, Ashtun, Brody and Arrow. She and Roger liked camping and for years she played softball and volleyball at the K of C. Carol also had bowled in various leagues.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her mother, Elsie Nieders of Payson; her daughter Tennille Powell; grandsons, Ashtun Powell; Brody Ferguson and Arrow Ferguson.
Siblings, Roger (Debbie) Nieders of Payson; Janet (Curt) Garber of Springfield, IL and Larry (Sara) Nieders of Payson. Nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Orville, and a sister Betty Sue Nieders in infancy.

A Memorial Service following cremation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Blessing Foundation for HOSPICE.

    I worked with Carol at Cassano’s and enjoyed her company and respected her work ethic. She was always so pleasant.

    Carol was an amazing person, grandmother and step mother! She has always treated me like one of her own and I am sad the world lost such an amazing person! Carol you will be truly missed!
