Carl J. Neuman
Carl J. Neuman age 77, of Quincy died on Tuesday morning, October 24, 2017 in Blessing Hospital. Carl was born February 19, 1940 in Quincy, a son of Carl Joseph and Emma (Schneider) Neuman.
Carl was self-employed, running companies specializing in trucking, demolition, and excavation, as well as investments in commercial real estate.
He was a 1958 graduate of Christian Brothers High School and a former member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Carl had an adventurous spirit and was very well-traveled. As a businessman, he was highly motivated, and possessed the heart of an entrepreneur.
Survivors include his son, Chris Neuman and his wife Rochelle; his grandson Benjamin Neuman; a sister, Virginia Kamphaus all of Quincy; and nieces and a nephew, Susie, Cathy, William and Jane.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the Activities Fund at St. Vincent Home.
