Cameron Glenn Steffen

Cameron Glenn Steffen, age 54, of Augusta, IL, died on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in his home. He was born on January 16, 1967 in Quincy, a son of Donald and Karen (Boden) Steffen.

Cameron was a graduate of Quincy High School. He later was employed as a truck driver. Cameron enjoyed riding his motorcycles and 4 wheelers. He really loved his food and going fishing.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Debbie Gardner; children: Coty Steffen and Quinton Steffen; stepchildren: Jessica (Travis Watkins) Gardner, Justin (Jesslyn) Gardner and Randa Gardner; fourteen grandchildren; siblings: Janice (Doug) Stroud, Marshall (Libby) Steffen, Ray (Gina Troutner) Steffen and Lori Doyle; many nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Cameron was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Donald “DJ” Steffen and two grandchildren.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Cameron’s family will plan a celebration of his life this summer.

    He was a very close friend and like a brother to me. We did our share of partying in the day. Him and my brother are looking out for us. I plan on seeing them again. I am sorry for your loss.
