Bruce and I both started at Quincy Jr High in 1971 and remained friends throughout the years. I remember many great times with Bruce, along with Nick Schildt, DD Fischer, and Bob Schuenke, rabbit and quail hunting, as well as the times at our duck and goose hunting camp near Brookfield, Missouri. Those were truly some of the best times of my life. Although I haven’t seen Bruce since moving to Florida in 2004, I will always remember him as a friend and a good guy.
Erin, BJ and Lois,
Sorry to read about Bruce’s death. Your family has our sympathy. Anything I can do for your family let me know.

I was so sorry to hear of Bruce’s death. Although Bruce was one of my brother Chuck’s trumpet teachers, he was the coach for the Quincy High School brass quintet that I was a member of for a couple of years. I always enjoyed rehearsals. He had a great sense of humor and kept us learning and enjoying what we were doing. He was one of the teachers that lead me to become a music teacher. Please accept my condolences.

Dear Erin and B.J.
We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. We will keep all of you in our prayers. So sorry we can’t make it to the services, but our children start arriving for Christmas on Monday. Just know you will be in our thoughts this holiday season.
I am very sorry for your loss. Bruce was a great influence in my life. I studied the trumpet with him for three years in high school. He helped me to choose to study at the University of Illinois, and to become a music educator. He was also a great insurance agent to me for almost 30 years. My prayers are with you.

Bruce will be very missed. Condolences to his family. I have known Bruce since I was a student back at Quincy Junior High and he has been our insurance agent for the past 25+ years. He was a very talented musician and I felt a lot of students really missed out when he left the field of education.
To the family of Bruce,
I am sorry for your loss. Bruce was my insurance agent. I found him to be enjoyable to deal with on insurance issues. I will miss him.
