Bruce A. Dieker

Bruce A. Dieker, age 54, of Burton, died on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on December 6, 1966 in Quincy, IL the son of Albert F. ‘Butch’ & Arlene M. (Keltz) Dieker. He was a graduate of Payson Seymour High School and attended the Lincoln Technical Institute in Des Moines, IA. He married Michelle Reis.

Bruce loved the outdoors, working in his garden and 3-Wheeling. He also enjoyed music. He was of the Catholic Faith.

He is survived by:
2 SONS: Reece (Megan) and Kruz.
4 GRANDCHILDREN: Karly, Kally, Kasey, and Kamry
2 BROTHERS: James (Ellen) and Roger (Susan)
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents,

A public visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Private family services are planned. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Jim, Roger and family,

    I was so shocked to hear of Bruce’s death. I will definitely miss seeing his smiling face and happy attitude. Please remember all the good times that will make you smile. I am sure my mom was in the welcome committee to greet him in Heaven.

    I am very sorry for the loss of Bruce. We went to school together & he was always very nice & funny. We were elected our Senior year class clown. He will be missed!
