Brian Davis
Brian K. Davis age 50, of Golden, IL died on Friday, January 28, 2022 in Camp Point. Brian was born in Pittsfield, IL, on January 17, 1972, a son of John Ray and Virginia Lynne (Hall) Davis. He married Minnie D. Reddick on April 30, 2011 at the Glory Worship Center in Clayton, and she survives.
Brian was a graduate of Central High School in Camp Point and graduated from Vatterott College. He served in the U.S. Navy for six years. He has worked as an electrician with Titan Wheel for 25 years. He attended the Crossing at 48th Street in Quincy.
Brian was boisterous, loud, and funny. He would say exactly what he was thinking.
His favorite pastimes were playing pool, working on his cars, especially his Mustangs and the Saab, and remodeling his house.
In addition to his wife Minnie, survivors also include his Mom, Virginia Brown of California, MO, his children, Elysa (Emily Walker) Davis; Josh (Kenadi) Davis and Ginny Davis all of Golden.
A sister, Rhena Cannady of California, MO; Sisters and brothers-in law, Laura (Scott) Alexander; Deana (Donald) Turner; and Beverly (Buzz) Stice and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Dad, a brother Allan Davis and a nephew Takoda Stice.
Services will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at The Crossing. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park with military honors. Visitation will be Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to The Crossing. Messages may be shared online at www.dukerandhaugh.
I am so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. I always enjoyed talking to him at Titan.
