Brenda D. Kroner

Brenda D. Kroner, age 63, of Camp Point, formerly of Quincy died on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 1:30 AM in St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She was born on July 25, 1951 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Dennis H. & Edna Pauline “Polly” (Pugh) Mackall. Brenda was a 1969 graduate of Liberty High School in Liberty, MO. She married Jeffrey L. Kroner on July 24, 1976. He survives.

Brenda had worked at the former St. Mary Hospital and also at Glenayre Electronics. She was currently working for the Grainery in Payson. Brenda enjoyed sports, including volleyball, softball, and golf. Brenda was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs Fan.

In addition to her husband, Jeffrey, she is also survived by:
TWO DAUGHTERS: Melinda “Mindy” Beckwith and her husband Thomas of Frederick, MD and Jamie Jenkins and her husband Michael of Des Moines, IA.
THREE GRANDCHILDREN: Hannah Collins, Spencer Collins and Andrew Collins.
FOUR SISTERS: Jennifer Deal and her husband Gary of Kentucky; Cindy Saville and her husband Dan of Versailles, MO; Delia “Dee” Ulsrud of Liberty, MO; Carla Sims of Gravois Mills, MO
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Dennis, her mother Polly Shelton and her step-father Louie Shelton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30. Memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or to the American Heart Association.
