Bradley Hise

Bradley Raymond Hise, age 55, of 1443 South Lakeshore Drive, Fowler, formerly of 1112 Jefferson in Quincy, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 5:40 AM in his home. He was born on

October 28, 1952 in Quincy, the son of Buell & Hazel (Ritter) Hise. He married Paula Jean McElvain on July 1, 1972 in Grandview Baptist Church in Quincy. She survives. Mr. Hise was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. He worked as a maintenance mechanic at Gardner-Denver from May 18, 1972 until the present.

Brad enjoyed hunting duck, goose and deer. He also enjoyed archery and was a member of Wenois Archery League. Brad was a member of the Twin Oaks Club. He liked riding his Harley and going on the river. Brad also loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:

TWO DAUGHTERS: Krista Holman and her husband Joseph of Edina, MO and Melissa Clay and her husand Nadunt of Quincy.

FIVE GRANDCHILDREN: Jayden Hise, Jaleh Clay, Jaron, Jazzlynn, and Jericka Holman.

ONE SISTER: Pamela Blickhan and her husband Duane.

Two Nephews: Nicholas Giffin and his wife Kham and Adam Giffin and his wife Missy.

His beloved Black Lab Lula also survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild Chase Holman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 1:00 Pm in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. Dennis Thomas. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Blessing Foundation for Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
