Bradley “Brad” M. Medsker
Bradley “Brad” M. Medsker, age 52, of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Quincy, died on Friday, April 24, 2015 in Gulf Coast Memorial Hospital in Ft. Myers, FL. Bradley was born May 8, 1962 in Quincy, a son of Melvin W. and Marjorie M. (Maas) Medsker.
Brad worked at Blessing Hospital for ten years before moving to Florida. He had worked for Jackson Pool of Florida for more than twenty years. He graduated from St. Mary Grade School, Quincy Notre Dame High School and he attended Culver Stockton College.
Brad participated in Scouting while he was in grade school, and throughout his school years enjoyed playing sports. As an adult, he loved being outdoors, going boating, fishing and living by the water. Brad loved his life, and being with his family, friends and neighbors in Spring Creek.
Survivors include his mother, Marjorie Medsker of Quincy; two brothers, John Medsker and his wife Penny of Ft. Myers, FL; Kenny Medsker and his wife Shelly of Quincy; a sister, Amy Kelley and her husband John of Quincy; nephews, Marcus Medsker and his wife Meghan of Chicago, IL; Jake and Tyler Kelley and a niece Casey Kelley all of Quincy. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin W. Medsker; his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Margaret Maas, paternal grandparents, Wesley Medsker, Faye and Marion Bunch.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Calvary Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the Donor’s Choice.

My condolences to the Medsker family, especially Amy. I will Always remember Brad as your big brother who liked to tease us at saint Mary’s walking home from school, however, forever letting us from harm. May his spirit remain loved and protected n the arms of Jesus for all eternity.
