Bob Lee Justus

Bob Lee Justus, age 40, of 727 Benson, Moberly, MO, formerly of Quincy, IL, died on Sunday, October 10, 2010 in Quincy. He was born on December 24, 1969 in Springfield, IL, the son of Edgar “Eddie” Leroy & Lily Mae (Boardman) Justus.

Bob was a member of the Way of Hope Church in Quincy. He worked as a handyman in the Quincy area for many years. He attended Baldwin & Quincy Junior High.

Bob loved to help elderly people. He was a generous person, even to a fault. He loved animals, and one special cat, “Stormy”. Bob especially enjoyed going on long bicycle rides. He had never met a stranger.

Bob is survived by:
His Father: Edgar “Eddie” Leroy Justus and his wife Cathy, of Moberly, Mo.
THREE SISTERS: Jackie Justus Richter, Beth Powell & Jennifer Justus.
Numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lily Mae Justus; his grandmother Mary Justus; Three Uncles, Harry Sumpter, Sr., Dabney Justus & William “Bill” Justus.

Memorial services will be held at the Way of Hope Church, 901 North 4th St, Quincy on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:30 AM by Dr. Charles E. Turnbow. Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon at 3:00 PM in the Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Justus family.

    Bob was a very special person.He was always there when you needed him.We are very sorry for the lost.He will be dearly missed.

    bob was our best friend,like our brother and like our son at times our children thought of him like a brother and part of our family..we loved him dearly and words cant describe how very badly he will be missed down here on earth.god bless all his family and friends that were deeply touched by him
