Blanche M. George, age 52, of 515 1/2 North 15th, died on Saturday, September 25, 2010 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on January 27, 1958 in Kewanee, IL. Blanche was the daughter of Willis Howard Kissee & Margaret Alice (Owens) Dalton and her husband James Dalton.
Blanche was married to Leonard Nikonsuk. She later married David Lee George. He preceded her in death.

Blanche was of the Christian Faith and loved church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, dice games and spending time with her grandchildren having slumber parties.

Blanche is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Kreston Nikonsuk and his fiance Nicole Carel of Quincy and Crystal Couch and her husband David of Peoria, IL
SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN: Destiny Mae Carel, Xavien Nikonsuk, Elijiah Nikonsuk, Gabriella Nikonsuk who is expected in January of 2011, Austin Couch, David Couch and Isabella Couch.
SIBLINGS: James Dalton, Jr., Robert Dalton, Lawrence Kissee and his wife Kay, William Kissee and his wife Brenda, and Charles Kissee, JoEllen Hay, Alice Lehenbauer, and Grace Goheen.
Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.

In addition to her husband David, Blanche was also preceded in death by her parents and step-father, 1 brother, 2 sisters and 1 son Lee Dalton.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 17 at 1:00 PM at the Way of Hope Church, 901 North 4th in Quincy. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Way of Hope Church in Quincy.
