Bill Miner

Bill Miner, age 88, of Quincy, formerly of Carrollton, Illinois, died on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in Blessing Hospital. Bill was born March 6, 1921 in Greenfield, IL the son of Oscar and Mabel (Moore) Miner. On March 4, 1945, he married Wanda Powell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Powell, formerly of Carrollton, and she survives.
Bill was retired from his business, Miner Electric which he owned and operated in Carrollton for 40 years.
He was a member of the Stuart Pierson Masonic Lodge for 65 years.
In addition to his wife Wanda, survivors also include his children:
a daughter, Andrea Baird and her husband John of Quincy; two sons, Steve Miner and his wife Pat of Pleasant Hill, IL and Roger Miner of New York; 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren also survive.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
