BEVERLY “BEV” McKINNEY OBITUARY

Beverly “Bev” McKinney, age 63, of River Park Health Care, Rock Island, Illinois, formerly of Decatur, Illinois, died on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 8:10 a.m. in Trinity West Medical Center in Rock Island. She was born April 1, 1944. She married James A. Curry, Jr., and to this union their two children were born.

She was a graduate of Eisenhower High School in Decatur. She was affiliated with Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a homemaker.

Bev enjoyed her family and her grandchildren. She loved westerns and especially those starring Clint Eastwood. Bev also enjoyed music.

Survivors include:
ONE SON: James Thomas Curry and his wife Sheryl of Quincy;
ONE DAUGHTER: Tina Marie LeCrone of Williamston, N.C.;
SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN;
Brothers, sisters, nieces, & nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law, Patrick LeCrone, and a grandson, Zachary LeCrone.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Elder Owen Havens. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. There will be a private visitation but friends and family are invited to the funeral services.
