Betty J. McCoy, age 72, of Canton, MO died on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on November 7, 1944 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Everett & Margaret (Osborn) Gallaher. She married James McCoy in March of 1973. He survives. Betty had previously worked at Motorola and E.L. Smith. Betty loved BINGO and watching TV.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by:
FOUR CHILDREN: Donald (Doug) Crenshaw, Lori Crenshaw, James (Deborah) Crenshaw, & Darin (Rhonda) Crenshaw.
TWO STEP-CHILDREN: Ryan (Gemper) McCoy, and Rachel McCoy.
GRANDCHILDREN: Amber Gallaher, Brittany (Josh) McCaskey; Joshua Crenshaw; Jordyn Crenshaw; Jensen Crenshaw; Noah Crenshaw; Joseph Wilson, Allena Wilson; Mariah Crenshaw; and Princess McCoy.
ONE GREAT-GRANDCHILD: Aiden
SIBLINGS: Harry Gallaher and his wife Sharon; Ralph Gallaher and his wife Linda; Larry Gallaher and his wife Kathy; Janet Gibson; Mary Sue Morgan and her husband Hurley; Brenda Davis and her husband Larry.

Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons: Michael Gallaher and Scott Crenshaw and Siblings: John, Terry, Walter and Everett Gallaher, Mildred Straube and Barbara DeMoss.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7th, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to Diabetes Association. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
