Betty M. Lepper
Betty M. Lepper, age 94, of Quincy, died on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in her home. She was born at home in Quincy on July 22, 1923, the daughter of Henry & Rose (Koch) Waterkotte. Betty was a 1941 graduate of Quincy Senior High School. She married Willard L. Lepper in the Parsonage of St. John Catholic Church on March 2, 1946. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2001. Betty had worked for Illinois Bell, Camp Ellis Telephone Company and later Motorola until her retirement.
Betty was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Betty loved crafts and traveling. She also loved the time spent with her family.
Betty is survived by:
CHILDREN: Diana East and her fiancé Rick Geist of Quincy; David Lepper and his wife Roseanne of Western Springs, IL; and Suzanne Boss and her husband Jeff of Daytona Beach, FL.
GRANDCHILDREN: Randy Wheeler and his wife Dusty; David Wheeler and his wife Dawn; Sam Lepper; Anne Lepper; Zach Boss and Eric East.
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Britne Wheeler, Trevor Wheeler, Emily Wheeler, Ericka Lewis, Layla East, and Payten Cornilius.
A BROTHER: Charles Waterkotte.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
In addition to her husband, Betty was also preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Henrietta Waterkotte, Helen Rineberg, Marilyn Pruett, Virgil Waterkotte, Ralph Waterkotte, and Alvin Waterkotte.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
We were saddened to hear of your families loss. We enjoyed many good times together at the South Side Boat Club. We know the thoughts and prayers of many are with you.
