My favorite memories of Grandma Stone are of everyone sitting around the dinning room table and singing songs. My favorite song was one she wrote about wanting noise for Christmas. I have a tape of songs she recorded for me and that is on there… I will cherish it always. I remember her being tuff but loving & my daughter Rachael reminds me of her in many ways, so I guess I will always have a part of her in my life. It has been a few years since I saw Grandma Stone, although I thought of her often & love her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of our family in Quincy and may our memories of her bring us comfort.

Bertha was such a nice lady. I remember her as an encourager. Always pleasant and helpful. I loved hearing her sing. The ground is level at the foot of the Cross. I have great memories….I know you have also. She was a blessing. My sincere sympathy to you all. Wilma Cossiboom

To the family of Bertha Stone, please accept my condolences. It has been quite some time since I last saw Bertha, but my memories of her (as a young boy) are that of the many nights we (all the cousins living in Marblehead) would gather at the home of Bertha and Lennie Stone for some singing, playing games and just having plain fun. My heart and prayers go out to all of the family members.
