Bernard A. “Mick” Goggins
Bernard A. “Mick” Goggins of Eagle, Colo., died Thursday (Nov. 14, 2013) with his family by his side after a six-year battle with cancer.
He was born in Quincy, on Dec. 6, 1939, to Genevieve Kohl and Bernard “Barney” Goggins. He married Karen Hollembeak. She survives.
Mr. Goggins grew up in Quincy and attended St. Boniface Elementary School and Notre Dame High School in 1957. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Peter Catholic Church in Quincy.

He was an avid University of Notre Dame fan and loved to remind his wife that they lived in the “banana belt.”
