Berdella Hanlin, age 93, of the Sunset Home, formerly of 2531 Sharon Dr, died on Friday, August 21, 2015 in the Home. She was born on May 25, 1922 at home in Griggsville, Il the daughter of General Clifton and Anna (Brown) Moore. She married John W. Hanlin on June 30, 1949 in Pittsfield, IL. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1990. Berdella was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife and mother who loved the Lord and was a blessing to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by: TWO SONS: Larry Hanlin of Minnesota and Gerald Hanlin and his wife Debra of Eastover, SC; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a great-grandchild and all of her siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 at the funeral home.
