Bearl L. Houston

Bearl L. Houston, age 82, of the Hultz Trailer Court, died on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in St. Vincent Home. He was born on November 2, 1930 in Mascoutah, IL the son of Clem and Emma (Hull) Houston. He married Myrtle Richie and she preceded him in death.

Mr. Houston worked for Breyer’s Manufacturing and later for Channen’s Metal.

He was a veterans of the Army and the Air Force and served during the Korean war.

He is survived by:
ONE BROTHER: Dale Houston of Quincy and
ONE SISTER: Maxine Hudelson of Quincy

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and numerous sisters and brothers.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11:00 Am in Greenmount Cemetery with military rites at the cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    It was a great 5 years at Browers. Tried to send a letter a few months ago, but returned for insuf. address.
