Bartholomew “Bart” Peter Chase, age 52 of Quincy, died on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in his home. Bart was born on February 7, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois, to William F. and Mary P. (DaVern) Chase.

Bart was employed by PHIBRO Livestock Distribution and Processing Center. He enjoyed going camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, animals, especially dogs and reptiles and making his own wine and beer.

In addition to his mother Mary, Bart is also survived by his siblings, Kathleen Nassery, Christine West (Preston), William J. Chase (Kim), Mary Busch (Sam), Matthew Chase (Kimber) and Jennifer Chase.

He was preceded in death by his father William and his brother-in-law, Monnocher.

Cremation has been accorded to Bart. The family will host a memorial service to celebrate his life at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
