Barbara Jean McGraw, age 69, of 621 Harrison, died on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 6:30 AM in her home. She was born on December 28, 1939 in Quincy, the daughter of Walter and Thelma (Rorick) Hummel.

Mrs. McGraw was a housekeeper in the Quincy area for many years.

She was a member of the Catholic Faith.

Barbara was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and the Quincy Eagles Club 535 Ladies Auxiliary. Barbara loved working Bingo for the Eagles, reading and being with her family.

She is survived by:
SIX CHILDREN: David McGraw, Brad McGraw, Greg McGraw, Donnie McGraw, Ellen Mason and her husband Michael, and Michelle Rost and her husband Bryan all of Quincy.
9 GRANDCHILDREN: David Alan McGraw, Tisha Marie McGraw, Anthony Young, Kimra McGraw, Michael Bradley, Amanda Mason, Carol Mason, Quinton Rost, and Autumn Rost.
3 great-grandchildren and
ONE BROTHER: David Hummel and his wife Jan of Quincy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter: Deborah Rushmeyer, a brother Richard Hummel and 2 grandchildren Matthew Carl Bradley and Bon Gregory McGraw.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 10:30 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
