Barbara J. Campbell, age 66, of 1407 South 7th, died on Saturday, April 11, 2009 in Blessing Hospital. Barbara was born on October 9, 1942 in Quincy, the daughter of Joseph & Marie (Bohne) Durand. She was a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School. Barbara married Steven L. Campbell on October 29, 1971 in St. Francis Catholic Church. He survives. Barbara worked at Motorola for 12 years and at the Quincy Paper Box Company for 12 years. She was of the Catholic Faith. Barbara was also an avid Cardinal Fan and until her poor health she enjoyed bowling. She also enjoyed the time she spent with her family & friends.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is also survived by:
A SISTER: Joan Dietrich and her husband Rich of Quincy;
A SISTER-IN-LAW: Maureen Durand of Quincy,
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Patrick Durand and James Durand and one sister: Janet Duncan.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m.
